Litheli FrozenPack Puts the Electric Cooler in a Backpack Form Factor

Large rolling coolers are great, but you have to admit, keeping one of those 12V fridges on the back of your car sounds so much better. Not only can you chill drinks on them, you can downright freeze them if you want. The Litheli ForzenPack takes the portable fridge and puts it in a backpack cooler form factor.

That’s right, they made a portable fridge that you can strap to your shoulders and carry on your back, making it easier to take with you even when you’re going on foot. Sure, it’s still big, bulky, and heavy as heck, but the form factor makes it a lot more portable than your typical electric cooler that’s an absolute pain to take out of the car.

The Litheli FrozenPack is an electric cooler clad in a backpack form factor, with integrated straps rated to support up to 50 pounds, so you can load it up with drinks, food, and whatever else you want to bring on the go. Instead of soft fabric walls like some backpack coolers, this one has a fully-rigid inner section, so its contents should stay in place when the main compartment is tightly packed. Do note, it doesn’t have a lot of room inside, accommodating just a maximum of 10 cans at a time.

Of course, that’s not as big of an issue, considering it’s an electric cooler with a built-in compressor and battery. That means, it can chill or freeze any contents actively, with the ability to set the temperature anywhere from -4 degrees to 68 degrees Fahrenheit. As such, you can load up a new drink as soon as you take one out, even crank up the temperature if you need to cool down the contents faster. How fast does it cool down? According to the outfit, it can go from 77 degrees to 32 degrees Fahrenheit in just 15 minutes.

The Litheli FrozenPack uses a three-layer insulation made up of PU and EPE, so it will keep the cold air locked in to ensure efficient cooling. It’s quiet, too, producing sound levels of just 35 dB, so it won’t cause a distraction, whether you keep it in the car, take it to the campsite, or set it down on a beach blanket. Do note, it’s only IPX2 water resistant, so while it can handle splashes and light rain, you’ll definitely want to avoid getting this thing soaked if you want to protect the electronic components.

A 20,000 mAh U20 battery powers the compressor, allowing you to use it as a fridge or freezer on the go, with a swappable design that lets you put in a new battery on the fly. When you’re in the car, you can plug it in to the vehicle’s 12V/24V outlet, while also plugging in to a standard power outlet when you’re at home. Other features include USB outlets for using the battery as a power bank, five exterior pockets for organizing small items, a sternum strap, a hip strap, and a built-in LED control panel.

The Litheli FrozenPack is available now.
